Dr. Yash Patel was born and raised in London, England, but his path to veterinary medicine has taken him across the globe. In 2015, inspired by adventure and the expansive landscapes of the American Southwest, he moved to Arizona to pursue his undergraduate degree in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Arizona, graduating in 2019, where he also met his future wife.

Driven by a strong interest in the connection between animal, human, and environmental health, Dr. Patel earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in One Health, further shaping his commitment to caring for both pets and the communities they live in. He went on to attend veterinary school at St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman and completed his clinical year at Washington State University in 2025.

Later that year, Dr. Patel married his wife, Amanda, and together they relocated to Virginia, which they are proud to call their long-term home. Outside the clinic, he enjoys golfing, having played competitively since the age of seven, cheering on Tottenham Hotspur, following McLaren Formula 1, and unwinding with a good puzzle.
